Hello my name is Clare.  Where  shall I start to tell you about me?

I live on the south coast about 20 minutes away from Bournemouth beach and a 10 minute drive from the new forest.

I am a single mum of three grown up children 24, 22, 19 , I Also have a 5 year old granddaughter.

I have trained in childcare and development and worked in nurseries when my children were of school age, later ran a preschool and set up a sensory toddler  group's.

Becoming a doula is deeply personal to me from my own experiences, not all positive but that’s what drives me to wanting to make the birthing experience something you will treasure forever. Having the experience of seeing my grandchild arrive into the world too was an extremely life changing moment for me. Choosing a Doula is a deeply personal decision my goal is ensure you feel heard and empowered as you welcome your new addition.

I am extremely passionate about holding space for you and your partner, I have a heart full of care and compassion which is deeply personal to me.

I believe that every birth is a unique and sacred event. Whether you are planning a home birth, or a hospital birth ,or a c section, my role is to provide a steady presence, evidence based information on and emotional  support .I advocate for informed choice and believe that when a parent feels supported they can lean into the power of their own  intuition.
