Hello my name is Clare.  Where  shall I start to tell you about me?

I live on the south coast about 20 minutes away from Bournemouth beach and a 10 minute drive from the new forest.

I am a single mum of three grown up children 24, 22, 19 , I Also have a 5 year old granddaughter who was born during Covid, which   was a big challenge for us all.

I love to go for coffee with friends and walks to the beach no matter what the weather.

I have trained in childcare and development and worked in nurseries when my children were of school age, later ran a preschool and set up a sensory toddler  group's.

I love to learn new things and have a big interest in holistic approaches. I keep myself updated with all the evidence based information that I can help pass on to help you through your journey. 

Becoming a doula is deeply personal to me from my own experiences, not all positive but that’s what drives me to wanting to make the birthing experience something you will treasure forever. Having the experience of seeing my grandchild arrive into the world too was an extremely life changing moment for me.

I am extremely passionate about holding space for you and your partner, I have a heart full of care and compassion which is deeply personal to me.

Clare’s gentle doula care is initiated with a deep desire to empower and support expectant mothers through the transformative journey of pregnancy and childbirth. I have a  natural ability to provide nurturing and compassionate care stems from my own personal experience and dedication to helping others. With knowledge in prenatal support, labour assistance, and postnatal care, I am committed to creating a safe and comforting environment for every client I work with.
