My services

A BIG Welcome and thank you for finding me. I am so excited to be in this wonderful birthing space. I am a mother of 4 beautiful children, 3 variations of natural births and 1 Caesarean Section all birthed at the hospital.  I loved being pregnant and I blossomed. For me, becoming a mother was like I had found my superpower, and I was unstoppable.

Each pregnancy was very different and each one teaching me something extraordinary. I can’t fully explain it, other than that my maternal instincts were very strong, and I felt empowered yet at the same time a little bit scared and overwhelmed by it all. Of course, there were ups and downs and I did not have family nearby. I did not have the network support around me.

Since then, from my personal experience it has been my vision to create a safe space for new Mothers, to support them and reassure them that we don’t have to do this journey completely alone and it is OK to not know everything. You are learning a new skill; it is called Mothering.

I trained with Continuum Doulas, which has a big focus on post-natal care and with the increased strain of not enough resources in the NHS, it is evident that there is a real need for post-natal support and that’s where the benefit of taking on a doula comes in. I am there to guide and support you every step of the way, in whatever capacity you need me to be

With us working together it can look like something like this:

1. Emotional Support: I provide compassionate listening and emotional support throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

2. Physical Comfort: Utilizing massage techniques, Reiki, and other holistic therapies, which offers relief from physical discomfort and stress during pregnancy and labour.

3. Birth Preferences: I assist you in crafting your birth preferences, ensuring your wishes and desires are communicated effectively to your birthing team.

4. Pregnancy Wellness: With my expertise in Reiki, Aromatherapy, and Swedish Massage, I help you maintain overall well-being and relaxation during pregnancy.

5. Postpartum Care: I offer support in the postpartum period, including debriefing after birth, providing resources, and assisting with any challenges that arise.

6. Advocacy: I advocate for your needs and preferences within the maternity system, ensuring you feel empowered and informed throughout the birthing process.

7. Collaboration: Working in synergy with medical professionals, I complement their care with holistic support, enhancing the healing process.

8. Individualized Care: Recognizing that each birth experience is unique, I tailor my support to meet your specific needs and preferences.

9. Communication: I facilitate communication between you and your healthcare providers, ensuring your concerns are addressed and your voice is heard.

10. Listening Ear: With my 10 years of counselling experience, I offer a safe space for you to express your thoughts, fears, and joys surrounding pregnancy and childbirth.

The possibilities are endless. Let's schedule a call and you can share with me your expectations and pregnancy journey so far.
