👋 I’m a trained birth and postpartum doula - an advocate for compassionate, holistic care throughout the journey of parenthood - from fertility, pregnancy and birth to postpartum recovery.

📍I live in Darlington, County Durham with my husband, our 4 year old daughter and our daft as a brush Cockapoo, Annie. I offer doula services across the North East, North Yorkshire and remotely.

🤗 My path to becoming a doula was shaped by my own journey of pregnancy and birth, secondary infertility and loss. I learned very quickly during the birth of my daughter, that my experience would have been so very different (and better!) if I could have had the doula that I wanted, but.....Covid.

✨️ Through my own experiences, as cheesy as it sounds, I had that ‘calling’ moment that I couldn’t ignore any longer. I just knew I had to be a doula.

I, first hand, understand that parenthood isn’t always neat or predictable. It’s raw, beautiful, and transformative. That’s why Pink Flamingo exists - to stand beside you during the most powerful, vulnerable, and sacred time of your life.

❤️ Whether you're navigating pregnancy after loss, preparing for birth, or adjusting to life with a new baby, I’m here to hold space for you. I offer evidence-based information with a deeply empathetic, down to earth and nurturing approach - helping you feel seen, heard, and confident in your own strength.

I will support you in navigating the medical system, giving you the time and space you deserve to discover what truly feels best for you, your body and your baby. Most of all, I want you to feel nourished, safe, respected and cared for - mind, body and soul.

While midwives look after your medical care, my role is to offer the kind of continuous, personal support that the NHS or private healthcare often can’t.

✨️I am here to support you in ways that compliment clinical care and go beyond what even the most loving family and friends may be able to give.

I will gently guide your birthing partner (if you have one) - helping them to feel involved, present, connected and confident to
support you in a meaningful way.

🦩The pink flamingo in my business name represents the journey of losing and reclaiming your identity (your pink) through parenthood, just as mother flamingos
lose their colour when rearing their young.

My role is to help you find your pink again, in your own time, in your own way.
