I’m Larri, a doula offering calm, continuous and emotionally intelligent support through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. I work with families across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Surrey and Buckinghamshire, providing care that is grounded, personalised and fully centred on you.

Whether you’re a first-time parent, planning a caesarean birth, managing gestational diabetes or simply feeling overwhelmed by the maternity system, I offer steady, experienced support from our first conversation to the early days with your baby. I understand the challenges, and I’m here to help you feel informed, calm, and in control.

Imagine walking into your birth knowing your rights, understanding how your body works, and trusting the choices you’ve made. Imagine feeling truly supported, emotionally, practically and without judgement and looking back knowing you didn’t just get through it… you owned it.

This is more than birth preparation, it’s an investment in how you begin one of the most powerful transitions of your life. And you deserve to feel confident, held and never alone in it.

If that’s what you’re looking for, I’d love to hear from you.

I felt supported and empowered by Larri.

09/09/2025

When my wife first suggested we consider having a doula for the birth of our second child, I’ll admit that I thought a doula was a musical instrument. I had no idea what a doula actually did, but i can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made and it had a hugely positive impact on our birth experience.

I felt supported and empowered by Larri. Thanks to the prenatal sessions we had with her, I went into the birth feeling confident and prepared. Her explanations were clear, I felt that I understood what to expect and how I could help.

On the day, she read the room perfectly, offering support when needed, stepping back when appropriate, and building a fantastic working relationship with the midwives. She never took over, but her presence gave us the confidence and reassurance to keep going.

Importantly, it meant I felt like part of the team, not just an awkward bystander!

Larri’s intuition and calm approach helped us both feel safe and supported during a life changing experience. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula who empowers both the birthing person and their partner.

Larri built a great rapport with the midwives

09/09/2025

I wholeheartedly recommend Larri to anyone looking for a doula—her support was nothing short of exceptional. While I have huge respect for the NHS and the incredible midwives who work within it, the reality is that maternity services are stretched thin. Appointments are often just 20 minutes, much of that spent on paperwork, routine checks, or blood work, which makes it incredibly difficult to receive truly personalised care. In hospital settings, there can also be subtle (or not-so-subtle) pressure to accept medical interventions that may not align with your birth preferences.

Larri helped me navigate all of this with confidence. She empowered me to make my voice heard and to advocate for the birth I wanted. She provided calm, pragmatic support and a toolkit of practical techniques that made a real difference—like breathing exercises, the use of combs, and a clever idea of moving through different positions with each contraction, which helped keep me focused and grounded.

A moment that stands out is when she noticed my contractions had slowed down—something no one else picked up on. She encouraged a change of position to use gravity, and less than an hour later, my baby was born. Her intuition and attentiveness helped keep things progressing naturally and efficiently.

Larri also built a great rapport with the midwives, who even commented afterwards on her professionalism. She’s pragmatic, emotionally intelligent, and genuinely invested in making sure women feel safe, informed, and in control. She’s an absolute asset to the birth world, and I’m so grateful she was there with me!

Larri was amazing from start to finish

09/09/2025

Larri was amazing from start to finish and I couldn’t be happier that we chose her as our doula.

As a man about to experience my wife having our first child it was daunting, and I was anxious about the whole thing. In the initial sessions she provided us with a wealth of knowledge and information and I was confident we were in good hands.

When the time came and labour started, she was on hand immediately and remained by our side until the end, advocating for our choices, providing calm and stable support, and making sure we were informed and listened to throughout.

Unfortunately nature didn’t allow my wife to have the birth that she had wished for, and she had to endure a difficult 36 hour labour which resulted in an emergency c-section, but Larri didn’t once seem phased by the situation. She remained calm and composed throughout, caring compassionately for my wife and keeping me calm and reassured, especially when getting ready to go into theatre. I genuinely don’t know what I would’ve done without her there and will always be grateful for the help she provided in bringing my son into the world.

Thank you Larri!
