Hi! My name is Mary, I am a postpartum doula and mama of a little girl.

I deeply believe that Mothers deserve to be seen, honoured, and held. Not just on the day their baby is born, but every day after that, too.

While working for over 10 years in nurseries in France and the UK, I witnessed how often mothers were forgotten,  expected to carry everything without support, without space, without rest. I knew something had to change. That’s why I created Light Of A Doula: a space where mothers are truly seen, heard, and supported through the tender transition of Postpartum.

My approach is gentle and rooted in slow, intentional postpartum care, inspired by traditional wisdom from cultures that honour this sacred passage into Motherhood and Matrescence.

With my background as an Early Years educator, I also love offering gentle guidance and reassurance, so that you can grow confidence in your own parenting skills and feel empowered in your role.
