Melinda Balint

Hi, I’m Melinda
living and working in and around Kent. I am a doula, a hypnobirthing teacher, a baby-wearing peer supporter, and also a mum to my little one, who I free birthed at home.

That experience was very transformative for me and my work—it showed me just how powerful, instinctive and wise our bodies really are.

That’s why I do this work. I know birth can feel powerful, intense, overwhelming, and at times vulnerable. My role is to be by your side through it all—to remind you of your strength, to hold space for your choices, and to be your voice when you need an advocate most.

I have a special passion for supporting families who are planning free births and home births, but I support all informed choices. Whether you’re birthing at home, in a birth centre, or in hospital, I’ll be there to make sure you feel heard, respected, and supported.

I finished my doula course with Developing Doulas with the guidance of Katie Olliffe.

Coming from a culture that is still nurturing the knowledge of old generations of people giving birth, I believe that we should reclaim our stories.
