Rachel Mole

Hi, my name is Rachel Mole and I am a birth and postnatal doula supporting families in Dorset & Hampshire. I am a Mum of three and I became a doula because I experienced how much difference kind support made in my own motherhood journey. My role is to help you feel informed, supported, and never alone during your pregnancy, birth and those precious early weeks. My aim is for you to feel safe, supported, confident, capable and cared for during this transformative time. Every mother deserves this!

If you are feeling excited but also a bit nervous and unsure, you are not alone. Many families want steady support, reassurance, a calm voice, and someone in their corner to walk alongside them during such a transformative time in life.

🤍🌿 How I can help
As your doula I offer continuous, friendly, compassionate, non judgemental emotional and practical support for you and your family, to help you feel calm and confident, alongside creating a calm and safe space for you to express your feelings, wishes and experiences, during your pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period (fourth trimester.) I can provide you with evidence based information to help you make informed choices throughout your pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. This is your beautiful journey and your choices and I will support you in whatever they may be.

🤍🌿 Why should I choose you as my doula?
 I really take time to build relationships with the families I support. You are never just another client to me. It’s important to me that you feel comfortable and can ask me questions, express your fears, celebrate joys, and make decisions that feel right for you and your family, with no judgement whatsoever. I intentionally don’t take on loads of clients, so that I’m not stretched too thin and can show up fully when you need me.

Outside of my work, I am also a volunteer breastfeeding peer supporter having trained with The Association of Breastfeeding Mothers and I work with the charity, Families & Babies in my local area. I can provide breastfeeding support if you wish to breastfeed your baby.

I also own a small baby & mama knitwear business, which I set up whilst bringing up my children. I love to gift my clients with one of my designs.
