Choosing me as your birth doula means you are not only getting dedicated support during your labour and birth but also expert feeding guidance; as I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I offer an enhanced package as standard which includes 3 antenatal sessions to prepare you for both birth and feeding your baby. I also offer postnatal visits to get feeding off to the best start.
With my guidance, you can feel confident and empowered, knowing that you have a knowledgeable advocate by your side who is committed to both your well-being and the health of your baby. I have supported over 120 births and supported over 2000 families with lactation.
Perhaps, you are looking for a Doula to advocate for you whilst also working in collaboration with any midwives or doctors. I have a vast amount of experience and have supported many births including; homebirths, waterbirths, freebirths, Ceasarean births, Vaginal Birth after Ceasarean, induction of labour, epidural/ medical pain relief births and preterm birth.
Perhaps, breastfeeding is really important to you and you feel reassured having a Doula who is also an IBCLC Lactation Consultant- to prepare you in pregnancy and offer practical support after your baby is born.
Perhaps, you are considering a Doula as you are unfamiliar with pregnancy, birth and postpartum and want access to evidence- based information from someone experienced that you can trust.
Perhaps, you want someone by your side who understands how birth works and can normalise things for you and instill confidence in your ability to birth your baby.
Perhaps, you are searching for someone who has a deep understanding of neurodiversity, alternative family units, anxiety and mental health and will never judge you or your birth team.
Perhaps, you are looking for a Doula who is also a trained Hypnobirthing teacher- so can help keep you calm and help you work through your affirmations, visualisations and breathing techniques..
Perhaps, you want a Doula to bring over all of the essential labour tools needed and work with you during your labour on positions, massage and comfort measures.
Perhaps, you want the reassurance of having an experienced person who is able to give reassurance to your birth partner(s) and tag team with them, when they need to eat or rest.
If these sound like the types of things you are looking for in a Doula, then please do reach out and book a free chat with me.
I am often booked up months in advance, so it is usually best to talk to me as early in your pregnancy as possible.

Rebecca is a really incredible doula and I would wholeheartedly recommend her. She supported me to make the choices around my birth that I wanted to, meaning that I felt much more confident and prepared going into birth. She made it clear that she was open to all types of birthing approaches and was happy to work with my particular preferences.I initially reached out to Rebecca as I was feeling daunted and scared about birth and was looking for extra support. I feel Rebecca really went above and beyond in making sure I was reassured, informed and prepared. I felt that a lot of my fear either went away or felt much more manageable after our preparatory sessions with her. She was so kind and reassuring during what is a very vulnerable and scary time and her supporting us made such a difference!
Having Rebecca as our doula was one of the best decisions we’ve made. Both I and my partner felt supported throughout the whole process in the lead up to my due date to postnatal support with breastfeeding. Our daughter surprised us by flipping to breech at 39w. Although I had originally wanted a vaginal birth in the midwife led unit, we made the decision to go for a C-section after considering all the information and options presented to us. Rebecca was supportive of our decision and helped us work out our birth preferences for a C-section. She came to support us in the recovery room – not just with breastfeeding but also emotional support after a whirlwind 24 hours! Her postnatal support helped me process some of my emotions surrounding the birth and got our breastfeeding journey off to a great start. I credit my decent mental health to having her support these past few days / weeks – as first time parents her support made everything more manageable and we’ll be eternally grateful.
This is our second review of Rebecca because we loved her so much for our first baby, that we brought her back for our second! As expected, Rebecca helped and supported in endless ways to give us the beautiful home birth and successful breastfeeding we had hoped for. In particular, I was misdiagnosed in late pregnancy with a disorder that could have completely changed my birth plan. Rebecca supported and sent primary, research-backed information (the midwives even commended the source quality!) so that I could advocate for myself for a review by senior consultants where they found it was fully a mistake in the diagnosis. Rebecca was also critical in providing lactation support covering a tongue tie diagnosis, latch help, and managing oversupply and mastitis. We could not imagine having a birth without Rebecca and are incredibly grateful for her!
