If you've heard the stories and are thinking "hell no to that, I deserve more" or your last birth and postnatal experience felt a complete shit show and you were left feeling broken, alone and unsure. We need to connect.

By looking for doula support, you're already choosing to do it differently. You're choosing to be a calmer and more prepared parent.

Motherhood goes beyond a positive pregnancy test, a baby shower and maternity leave.  It’s transformational and lifelong and a difficult start feels heavy and hard to shake off.

If you pregnant and planning a C-Section, without the luxury of family support you can trust and depend on around, if you already have children who need familiarity and consistency, and you want to be a calm, confident, nurturing sort of mama.  Then yes, I’m probably the doula for you.

Reassurance by your side on the postnatal ward prioritising you, your baby and your recovery, support that transitions home with you and remains until you decide you're ready, adapting as your baby grows and ready to help when real life gets in the way.

One of many five-star reviews:

Sarah is an absolute breath of fresh air. Not only was she incredibly supportive and comforting throughout my pregnancy, with helpful ideas and personalised thoughtful suggestions, but she also has been a most welcome reprieve once our son was born. She is proactive and a very calming influence. She brings a quiet calmness and tranquility to your home so you can relax and feel peaceful in your space. This is such a pleasure with a newborn in particular.

She has been fantastic with our son and my husband and has been such a wonderful asset to our lives. Sarah has made me feel comfortable when I’ve felt vulnerable and her kind and thoughtful nature has supported us through what would otherwise have been a very stressful and exhausting part of our lives.

I cannot recommend her services highly enough. She would be an absolute asset to any family. She will bring you a sense of calm and enable you to do what you need with no judgement and a kind and sensitive style. She is worth every penny and more.

Initiative, compassionate and supportive

Sarah’s service during the first three weeks post-partum of my second child was nothing short of amazing. As someone with no family nearby, navigating the challenges of those first few weeks seemed daunting. However, Sarah stepped in and provided emotional support, signposted me when I had feeding concerns, and stepped in for me around the house. On the days when Sarah visited, I could focus solely on enjoying my newborn and her intuitive ability to anticipate my needs without prompting was something that only a fellow mum could provide. I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough to anyone needing a compassionate and supportive doula during such a magical yet tricky time.

"Always kind and patient we would hire her again in a heartbeat."

After a very challenging start to parenthood, Sarah provided some much needed respite. At the time of employment, our baby was a contact napping princess and Sarah would happily walk about with her for hours no matter the weather conditions to provide me, the mum, with a moment to catch my breath and reset for the rest of the week ahead. As well as racking up thousands of steps with our baby, Sarah would sprinkle her magic dust over the house whilst I was feeding: washing dishes, hanging washing out, making lunch, doing the bins and was even willing to walk the dog in torrential rain! I loved how Sarah made herself at home; quickly learning the layout of the house and most importantly, our tea orders! Sarah brought some much needed light to our situation. Always kind and patient we would hire her again in a heartbeat.

"Sarah went above and beyond"

Sarah came into our lives at a challenging point in my postnatal journey and provided exemplary care for our newborn and older child as well as kindness and a wealth of information for my husband and I. She was able to anticipate their needs on the go and was a safe pair of hands allowing me to get the rest I needed. Sarah went above and beyond – researching and tapping into her extensive network of other doulas, postnatal care providers etc. to provide helpful information and advice. Most importantly at all – Sarah was kind, gentle and empathetic, qualities that are hugely important when you’ve just had a baby. We would highly recommend Sarah.
