Hello and welcome!
My name is Thea, I’m a trained and passionate Doula here to support you through this wild and joyful journey of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.
Whether this is your first baby or your third, I believe every birthing person deserves to feel informed, empowered and deeply supported. My approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and a genuine commitment to honouring your unique needs and choices.
As your Doula, I’m here to listen without judgment, hold space for your feelings and emotions, provide evidence-based information, and be by your side—offering calm, reassurance and practical care every step of the way. I am a very open-minded person and want to help you have the birth you want and be the parent you hope to be.
If you're looking for a nurturing presence who will walk with you through this, I’d love to connect and hear more about your hopes for your birth and postpartum experience.
I look forward to hearing from you
Warmly,
Thea - Birthmoon Doula

A little bit about me:
I'm 32, married, with a two year old son born through IVF. I studied Early Childhood Studies at Warwick University, have worked in Primary Schools and as a nanny to several families. I grew up in London but moved to Hertfordshire four years ago and love it!
I love being in nature and going for walks, I'm a very empathetic person and a fierce friend. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, mainly vegetarian/vegan but am flexi. I am an environmentalist so will give you a few tips if you're interested - like which reusable breastpads to try, anything to help save a bit of money. Friends say I'm a really good listener and have an amazing memory, although since baby brain, it's sadly not what it used to be! I am thoughtful and inclusive but am always learning and open to feedback.
Why I trained as a Doula:
I have been lucky enough to gain work experience as a midwife, shadowing in the community and in hospital. I have had the privilege of being at one home birth, two c-sections and two births on the labour ward. Midwives are incredible! But I wanted to be able to spend more time with the birthing family, build relationships, support them through this life changing moment and be part of their village, which is why I decided to train as a Doula.
Plus, now having had my son, I wish I had a doula to help advocate for me pre and during birth, and to have been there by my side post too. I only hope that I'll be able to be that support for someone else now as a Doula.
Looking forward to meeting you!
