Doulaography
I am so glad YOU are here. Perhaps you are wondering how I can support you on your journey into motherhood?
The births of my own children inspired me to become a doula and to walk alongside women like YOU - helping you feel heard, respected, and empowered as you give birth and step into motherhood. I hold space for you to create the environment where your birth can be a positive and transformative experience.
My Approach
My care is centered around you — your story, your hopes, your fears, and your needs. As your birthkeeper, I will:
Together we’ll use approaches such as yoga and active positioning, breathing, meditation, hypnosis, relaxation, massage, shiatsu, acupressure, rebozo, aromatherapy, homeopathy, and Bach Flower remedies. Most importantly, we will gently work through any fears or anxieties, helping you feel calm, strong and ready. I will be there for you and your partner throughout, offering emotional reassurance, hands-on comfort and continuous support -always without judgement, and always honouring your choices.
What I Bring to You
Experience
I have been a direct birth companion to 180 births (as of Sept 2025) and indirectly to many more families through my work as a pregnancy yoga teacher, antenatal educator and HypnoBirthing practitioner. In the postpartum period I offer local families my experience as a postpartum yoga and mindfulness teacher, postpartum recovery massage therapist, baby massage trainer and breastfeeding counsellor. Over the years I’ve honed my structured programmes to guide families through birth and beyond.
Diverse Settings
I have supported births at home (including freebirths), in birth centres and hospital labour wards - from straightforward physiological births and waterbirths to VBAC/HBAC, IVF pregnancies, twins, high-risk situations (GD, cholestasis, SGA, pre-eclampsia), inductions, elective and emergency caesareans, premature babies and instrumental births. Together, we will explore your preferences and create birth plans for different scenarios so that when the time comes, you can simply focus on just being in the flow of your birth.
Cultural Sensitivity
Living in multicultural London and being bi-lingual, I cherish supporting families from many cultural and religious backgrounds. Respecting and celebrating this diversity is something I hold very close to my heart.
Ongoing Learning
I trained initially on the Paramana Doula course with Michel Odent and Liliana Lammers in 2011, and have continued to study ever since - completing Birthlight Diplomas, Advanced Doula Training with Red Tent Doulas, IAIM Baby Massage, HypnoBirthing and Breastfeeding Counsellor training among others. I have over 2,500 hours of study and love staying up to date so that my care is always evidence-based and rooted in best practice.
Holistic Perspective
I’ve taught yoga since 2004, and its core principle of balancing strength with softness runs through everything I do. As a Yoga Therapist since 2016, I now focus on pregnancy, labour and postpartum recovery, as well as women’s health issues such as menstrual problems, fertility, menopause, pain and stress.
My aim is to use all this knowledge and experience in a calm and practical way so that you can make the best choices during pregnancy, labour and beyond. I strongly believe that birth can be an empowering and beautiful experience, and my role as your doula is to create the environment where we honour your choices and create memories that are positive and rewarding regardless of circumstances. You have that power within you and we work together to unlock it.
