Hi, I’m Zoe – an autistic mother, wife, baker, creator, research scientist, and full spectrum doula offering pregnancy and postpartum support across the North East and North Yorkshire.
I run Postpartum Matters CIC, a non-profit organisation providing holistic and inclusive doula support and pregnancy care. I work with women and birthing people of all ages through tailored, one-to-one doula services, as well as via my free-to-access community wellbeing space – Women's Health Hartlepool.
My lived experience of birthing my own two children – with each pregnancy and labour being unique, challenging, and transformational – drives my deep belief in the power of being supported throughout the journey into parenthood. As a doula, my role is to walk alongside you through pregnancy, birth and the early postpartum period. I can hold space, advocate for you, attend antenatal appointments, and help you plan for a birth experience that feels right for you.
